Keeping your Lifetime Powertrain Warranty valid is easy. You simply need to stay current with routine maintenance and follow the guidelines in your warranty agreement: 

• Change your vehicle’s oil at the interval listed in your service contract. 
• Request authorization before completing any covered repairs. 
• Ensure all required maintenance—including transmission fluid replacement, coolant service, and fluid top-offs—is performed on time. 
  • If no interval is selected, an 8,000-mile interval applies. 
  • A 1,000-mile grace period is included. 

When repairs are necessary, replacement parts may be new, used, or remanufactured at the administrator’s discretion, but will always meet factory specifications and all state and federal guidelines.

Is There a Deductible? 

Yes. There is a $200 deductible for covered repairs under the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty. 

What Maintenance Is Required to Keep the Warranty Active? 

To maintain coverage, drivers must follow the manufacturer-recommended service schedule as outlined in their contract, including: 

• Routine oil and filter changes 
• Transmission fluid changes 
• Coolant service 
• Regular fluid top-offs 

Oil changes must be performed at the interval noted in your agreement. If no mileage is selected, an 8,000-mile interval automatically applies, with a 1,000-mile grace period.
